Frequently asked questions

Everything people usually ask before they call — response, pricing, vehicles and how the job gets done. Anything else, just ring 087 338 7450.

Call outs & response

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes — 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Recovery problems don’t keep office hours, so neither do we.

How fast can you get to me?

It depends on where you are and where the truck is when you call. We dispatch as soon as your call is confirmed and give you an honest ETA up front — not a number you want to hear that turns out to be fiction.

Where do you cover?

Nationwide across Ireland — motorways, national roads, towns, cities, rural lanes, farms and everything in between. If you can tell us where the vehicle is, we can get to it.

What’s the best way to contact you?

Phone is fastest for anything urgent: 087 338 7450. WhatsApp on the same number is ideal for sharing a dropped pin, photos of the situation, or a non-urgent enquiry.

What information should I have ready when I call?

The vehicle make and model, what happened, and your location — a dropped WhatsApp pin, an Eircode or a motorway junction number all work. Photos help us bring the right gear first time.

Pricing

How much does vehicle recovery cost?

Every job is priced individually based on distance, the vehicle and the situation — and the price is agreed before we move. No hidden extras added on arrival.

Can I get a quote before committing?

Yes, always. Call or WhatsApp with your location, the destination and the vehicle, and you’ll get a clear price. You decide from there.

Vehicles & equipment

What vehicles can you recover or transport?

Cars, vans and light commercial vehicles — running or not. That includes automatics, four-wheel drives, low cars and vehicles with seized brakes or electric handbrakes that can’t be towed on their own wheels.

What is tilt-and-slide flatbed recovery?

The truck bed tilts and slides back to ground level, and the vehicle is driven or winched on, then strapped down and carried fully off the road. It’s the safest way to move a vehicle that can’t or shouldn’t be driven.

Are you insured?

Yes — fully insured and certified for vehicle recovery and transport.

Transport & non-urgent jobs

Can you collect a car I’ve bought elsewhere in Ireland?

Yes — single-vehicle collection and delivery is one of our most common jobs. See our vehicle transport service for details.

Do you move non-runners and project cars?

Yes. The winch and flatbed mean the vehicle doesn’t need to start, steer or brake to be loaded and moved.
